It was in his teens that photographer and scene director Messi Schneider embraced the opportunity to work in the fashion industry. He left Rio Grande du Sul to know and conquer the world. Through living with other cultures, he discovered a passion for photography. With the unique sensitivity, Messi had the gift of extracting the best of his subjects, making them attractive to those who admire his images.
After living in more than 15 countries, he took up residence in New York City, where he worked alongside the biggest names in photography. His portfolio includes campaigns and films for names such as Armani exchange, FILA, VOGUE, ELLE, Forbes, Harper's Bazaar, Replay Jeans Italy, Colcci, and Neiman Marcus. In addition, faces like Giselle Bündchen, Kate Winslet, Sasha Meneghel, Candice Swanepoel, and Karolina Kurkova have posed for his lenses.
In 2020, he was awarded the parentheses “The Visual Arts Awards” trophy, as the best Brazilian fashion photographer in the US. During Art Basel 2018, the largest art event in the world, he exhibited the #faces series at Miami's renowned Ruble Museum.
